Friends of The Handmaidens

The Handmaidens are a North Carolina collective of artists, designers and crafters who create handcrafted adornments for body and home.

In 2004, we joined together to begin collaborating in collaborative trunk shows and local shopping events to promote our individual businesses and each other's work.

We are the founders and producers of Raleigh, NC's The Handmade Market, a semiannual shopping event that features the best and brightest artists, designers and crafters from NC and beyond.
