The Handmaidens are a North Carolina collective of artists, designers, and crafters who create handcrafted adornments for body and home.

In 2004, we joined together to begin collaborating in group trunk shows and local shopping events to promote our individual businesses and each other's work.

We are the founders and producers of The Handmade Market, a semiannual shopping event that features the best and brightest regional and national independent designers, artists, and crafters.
